Robin Roberts Returns to Good Morning America After Transplant

Be The Match Feature Story - On Wednesday, February 20, news anchor Robin Roberts made her return to Good Morning America —five months to the day after her marrow transplant to treat myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Robin was able to find a perfect match in her sister, Sally-Ann, who donated peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC) to help save Robin’s life.

The show was dedicated to helping viewers understand marrow donation and featured clips of other resilient men and women who are currently facing similar challenges with MDS.
