This single-center study analyzed 827 allogeneic transplants and compared outcomes in three time periods: 1983-1990, 1991-2000, and 2001-2010. Despite the fact that the latest cohort included older and higher-risk patients with more comorbidities, survival was higher (p=0.11 and p=0.009, respectively) and non-relapse mortality was lower (p=0.0007 and p<0.0001, respectively) in 2001-2010, compared with both earlier time periods. However, there was a significant increase in relapse incidence (p=0.04 and p=0.009, respectively) in 2001-2010, compared with both earlier time periods.
