Report: BMT CTN 2014 State of the Science

This report from the third State of the Science Symposia conducted by the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT CTN) outlines a scientific agenda describing the most important clinical questions to be addressed through future clinical trials in the field of hematopoietic cell transplantation. The report identifies 12 studies that are designed to answer the most clinically impactful questions, that have adequate preliminary data, and that are feasible to conduct. Previous reports of the State of the Science Symposia resulted in activating 33 clinical trials that accrued more than 6,700 patients and resulted in 37 published manuscripts, many significantly changing clinical practices in the field.
