Review: HCT and Novel Approaches in Pediatric ALL

In this review, the authors define the current best and promising future HCT practices for high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in children and adolescents and discuss the optimal timing for HCT in these patients. Other topics covered include how minimal residual disease (MRD) and the occurrence of GVHD after HCT can help define populations where intervention may decrease relapse, and how novel approaches used before or after HCT can improve post-transplant survival.
